BOOK LIST

Hi everyone; it took me a little while to pick three books which I think some of you would like. Most of my reading is fiction, mysteries, but the last book was a slightly disturbing look at computers and our children,in schools and at home.Anyone who has a computer and children espically young ones may want to read this book, it may change your attitude about computers!

• FAILURE TO CONNECT By Jane M. Healy, PH.D. How computers affect our children's minds- for better and worse.


• THE ANGEL OF DARKNESS By Caleb Carr, An historical thriller which takes place in New York 1897 with Dr. Laszlo Kreizler facing a new Clarence Darrow in the courtroom, a real page turner!


• ORIGINAL SIN By P.D. James, An Adam Dalglish mystery. PD James is the queen of the English mystery novel with the ability to evoke an atmosphere of supense and to create characters whose psychology is plausible and gripping.
  
• A MAN IN FULL By Tom Wolfe, Wolfe shows us contemporary America with all the verve, wit and insight that made him one of our most admired novelist,a coast too coast journey.
